If you're struggling with poor health or just want to improve on your health you've come to the right blog. Here at, I Wanna Be Healthy, we deliver to you the best and most up-to-date information we can find from medical journals and on-line resources to help you improve your health everyday. We do this by scouring the internet and medical journals and bringing back to you all the great advice and ideas that we find. I am in a unique position to write this blog. I am a Nurse Practitioner by trade. However, I am also someone who has not always been in the best shape either. I have also been a Registered Nurse for over 14 years. To this blog I bring my experience of helping many sick people so that I may write about medical conditions and to help you to obtain better health.
Hi, I'm Scott St. James. When I was 15 years old I started working out intensely. I have an older brother and he was great at sports. So of course, I wanted to be like him but better! I started lifting weights, doing cardio, and eating better. However, this did not last too long.
When I was 21 my first child Christian, was born! He was an absolute joy to have around. However, those late nights of being up with a baby really took a toll on my work outs and even eating healthy. It was just easier to sleep when I could and to eat whatever was handy at the time.
Also, when I was 21 I proudly joined the U.S. Air Force. I was able to get back to where I felt I was actually in a state of, "good Health."
After my 8 years in the Air Force my health waned again. Finally, I graduated from nursing school and that put me on the path to life long health. Now, I haven't been in tip top shape for the past 14 years but helping others through their sickness always inspires me to keep going and fighting for my health.
So now, I'm writing this blog to help both you and I to get healthy and to stay healthy. I wake up every morning and think to myself, "today I wanna be healthy!"
